Problems Setting Up or Signing Into Your Account
- I'm being told that I've already registered.
The VoicePic website requires a unique user name for every user. If you do not believe you ever registered on our webiste, then someone else may have used the same user name.
- I did not receive a registration confirmation email.
If you don't receive your registration confirmation email, do the following: Check to see if your inbox is full. If it is full, delete some email so that you can receive new ones. After deleting email, click on the "Resend" button to resend your Sign Up email. If you have a spam or junk mail folder, check that folder for the registration confirmation email. The VoicePic registration confirmation email will have the Subject header of: "VoicePic - Sign Up". If you can't find our email in your spam or junk mail folder, click on the "Resend" button to resend your Sign Up email. Wait for a few minutes. Since VoicePic doesn't control your email system, your email may not arrive instantly.
- I don't see a registration form on the register page.
The VoicePic website is down for software or database maintenance or backup. Wait for a little while and come back to try again.
- I don't remember my password.
Follow the directions on the Forgot password page. VoicePic will send a new password to the email address we have on file for the user name. We cannot provide the password by phone.
- I asked for my password to be resent, but I get a message saying there is no email address on record.
This may occur if you are mis-remembering your user name.
- I enter my user name and password, click Sign In and nothing appears to happen.

- What is a session?
When you sign in to our website we establish a session between our server and your browser to manage the transfer of information between our server and your computer, tablet or phone. We use cookies to manage this session. The session may timeout if there is no activity after a certain amount of time.
- What is a session timeout?
Our server is configured to timeout on an inactive session connection after 4 hours for security reasons. Your work or network service provider (the cable or telephone company) may timeout on an inactive session more quickly for network resource reasons. Your browser may also have its own timeout for an inactive session. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over the timeout period set by your work or network service provider or browser, although 30 minutes seems to be safe with most. Your session timeout value will be the shorter of our timeout value (4 hours), your work or network service providers timeout value or your browsers timeout value.
If you are seeing a timeout that occurs consistently, or after a relatively short period of time, we'd suggest clearing cookies in your browser, trying a different browser, asking your work IT staff about their network hardware, proxy and firewall session timeout settings or working from a different location. Additional information and possible solutions for browser session timeouts may be found by performing a Google or Bing search with the following phrase "Firefox session timeout", "Chrome session timeout" or something similar.
- How do I fix a session timeout?
Under certain conditions a session timeout may occur and force the user to be logged out. Normally logging back in should be easy, but on rare occasions logging back in may be difficult because some browsers become confused. To fix this problem we suggest clearing cookies and logging in again.
